After landing in Ho Chi Minh (HCM) City, I immediately looked into the local Toastmasters scene. There are ~6-7 Clubs in HCM, with 4 of them open to the public. I connected with them via email or Facebook and made plans to visit ASAP.
One of the Toastmasters Club organizers, Miss Lan Anh Nguyen, replied and invited me to join her Sunday morning EIY Public Speaking meeting. She started EIY (Earn It Yourself) about 2 years ago, with the goal of empowering and inspiring the youth of Vietnam.

The company has grown and provides a variety of coaching and training services including one-on-one coaching for professionals, corporate classes and workshop series.

My very first EIY meeting, I was asked to be a Speech Evaluator, which I happily agreed to. The meeting was fun and playful and reminded me of some of the workshops I used to run back in Los Angeles.
After the meeting, I was offered several job opportunities by Lan Anh to become a teacher, coach and trainer for EIY. I am now happy to be working with them, for corporate clients such as: Novartis Vietnam (which was awarded one of the Best Places to Work in 2017 by Anphabe)
Yoko is one of the instructors I work with and she is so fun!

Yoko and I.
Love working with her and all the rest of the crew!
I'm also teaching a variety of workshops based on public speaking, workplace communication and sales. Here are some pics from courses I've taught!

And here is a recent video from one of our Sunday morning workshops! I actually was not feeling well this day, but I tried to be as energetic as possible!
If you live in Ho Chi Minh City, come join us for a workshop! I promise it will be fun and playful!
